The problem is simple. You never recorded it.
Maybe it’s harmless. Maybe it’s a joke. Maybe someone used a public clip of you and ran it through a voice model. But the first time you see your likeness saying something you never said, something in your stomach tightens. It feels like someone borrowed your identity without asking.
That moment is no longer science fiction. AI systems can now replicate voices from a few seconds of audio. They can animate still photos. Smaller communities may adapt fastest.
